Study of test balance (tob) in vertigo patients
Abstract
The diagnosis of patients in modern neuro-otogical centres has to include not only history and examination, but also objetive and quantitative tests.
In this study stress the importance of a short but significant given to study the vestibular function through of vestibular Test of Balance (TOB) the most common and actually wide spread technique to evaluate the patient’s equilibrium in static condition is the study of the Center of Gravity (COG) projection over the standing surface that evaluation visual, somatosensitive and vestibular contribution to stability or sensory equilibrium organization.(Dr.Bergmann and Dr.Bertora)
The modern physician can help himself to complement his better Diagnostic , correlating all the background, clinical description, vestibular results (exploration of
vestibuloespinal, retinalocular, vestibuloocular systems) of the patient suffering from vertigo.
This study has motivated the research of vestibular function through of the study TOB technology systematic method for daily patient’s equilibrium evaluation during the clinical work in the patient suffering from vèrtigo, in order to determine and orientate the better vestibular diagnosis.
