A tendency for tinnitus relief after treatment of bilateral tinnitus

Abstract

External electrical stimulation has been used as a relaxation therapy for tinnitus.  The result of treatment comes soon after treatment.  Therefore, we got some interesting tendencies for tinnitus relief after treatment of bilateral tinnitus.

 Results.

Head ringing located at the center of the head was shifted to which hearing level was worse.

Tinnitus at the ear of weaker tinnitus level tended to disappear even if tinnitus at the ear of stronger level did not disappear. In case of diminution patients got bigger relief at the side of weaker level than that at the louder ear.

Those tendencies were more apparent in tinnitus with lower pitches.

Should patients are able to get these results, those patients found that tinnitus was easily under control. Experiences of easier control could encourage patients who will undergo tinnitus treatment. That would make better course.
